More Thermen, close to everyone
Thermen Bussloo, Thermen Soesterberg, Thermen Berendonck, and Thermen Bad Nieuweschans. Soon, SpaSereen Maarssen and Maastricht will join this well-known list. “It truly is an addition for wellness lovers everywhere,” says Dolman. “Our mission is to pass on positive energy, with the goal of bringing relaxation and a stress-free life to everyone. With the addition of the two SpaSereen locations, we are even better spread out and more accessible, helping our country to unwind.”
Familiar tranquility, the same wellness
From a business perspective, you could call it an acquisition, but in the guests’ experience, this will not be immediately noticeable. Dolman: “When we started talking, it didn’t take us long to decide – these beautiful resorts embody the same DNA we have at Thermen Resorts. The same luxury, attention to quality and nature, culinary gastronomy, and of course, peace and relaxation. Both resorts will therefore retain their own character and serenity. At the same time, we want to help guests take their relaxation and vitality a step further, with our Thermen Retreats label. With Retreats, we offer workshops and programs focused on physical well-being and inner growth – a wonderful addition to a day of wellness.”
An energy-positive future
In the world of wellness, Thermen Resorts is a leader in sustainability. Just like the other four Thermen Resorts, SpaSereen is also investing heavily in further sustainable development. Maastricht, only a year old, is already equipped with the most sustainable technologies and, like Thermen Berendonck and Thermen Soesterberg, is ‘all electric’. According to Dolman, this mission is also achievable for the other resorts: “With both big and small steps, our resorts are moving toward an energy-positive future, where more energy is generated than consumed. The ‘greener’ our resorts, the more our guests can enjoy relaxing days without placing unnecessary strain on the environment,” Dolman concludes.
